It matters not what someone is born, but what they grow to be.
-Albus Dumbledore, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Chapter 36
There’s something so magical and whimsical about Harry Potter. I recently started reading the books with my own boys and I love to see the tradition starting with each new family that shares my love for the wizarding series of books. This family had chosen the perfect combination of two fantasies: Harry Potter and Star Wars, along with shades of blues and greys to decorate their son’s nursery.
Big sister was incredibly sweet and quite the helper throughout the shoot. She shushed her Daddy to be sure baby brother stayed snuggled fast asleep and even popped in periodically with a “Hey, Erin?” to check in with what I was doing and examine my equipment. At one point, while waiting on brother’s diaper change, she even showed me all of her toys and stuffed animals. Mom and Dad said that she’s taken so well to being a big sister, too - so helpful and never jealous.
