I love you, and that’s the beginning and end of everything.

--F. Scott Fitzgerald

Couples typically think to call a photographer when they’re planning their wedding, when  really, I would love to encourage you to consider scheduling a photo session with your better half at any stage in your relationship!

If you’re getting tired of the same dinner-and-a-movie date night ideas or the best photo of you and your sweetheart is a selfie, consider switching things up for a couples session. Maybe we can plan to meet at one of your favorite spots at sunset, or use your session as an opportunity to explore a place that’s brand new. Disconnect from the world and connect with each other instead - and I promise, once you’ve had some time together, you’ll forget I’m even tagging along as the third wheel.

Use a couples session to celebrate something you both love, in addition to each other. If you have a particular hobby you both enjoy - whether it’s something artistic, athletic, or outdoors - why not capture some photos of you enjoying it together! Or if you have a pet, bring your furry friend along for a playful session.

If things are getting serious and you’re thinking of popping the big question, what better way to remember that special moment than with a photo session. As your relationship grows, you’ll be able to reflect back on that day and remember the scenery, your partner’s reaction, and every detail about the moment you decided to spend your lives together.

Sometimes, couples with children need a little extra nudge of encouragement when it comes to scheduling a couples session. It’s so easy to forget that your beautiful family started with just the two of you. Every once in a while, take a moment to reminisce, celebrate that love, and take some photos -whether for an anniversary or “just because”.

If you’ve recently become empty nesters and the kids are grown and off at college, maybe your relationship needs a little spark! Rekindle the fire of your relationship by snuggling up for some photos.

Whether you’ve been together for one year or fifty...
