Cypress point is an unassuming park spot hidden behind an office park that offers a small but beautiful white sandy beach area with interesting tree foliage as well as palms. There are tall grassy areas and walking trails as well!
Davis Islands offers a white sandy beach area with yacht club views on one side, and around the bend a little ways on the other side of Davis Islands is Sea Plane Basin Park which is a grassy area also with water & yacht views just with a bit more of a greener feel.
An expansive public park along the water with featuring walking and nature trails, small beach fronts, and lots of shade. Trees abound and Spanish moss is a feature here for sure!
With the hotels and beach homes as a backdrop on one side and the expansive white sand shores on the other, Clearwater beach provides ample opportunity for beautiful photos.
The University of Tampa is a stately and beautiful university campus in the heart of Tampa and situated right along the Hillsborough Riverfront. One of the main campus buildings, Plant Hall, offers unique architectural features and a lush grassy riverfront park.
Our Lady of Divine Providence is a beautiful and serene waterfront garden covered in spiritual statues and trees full of Spanish moss. Stone bridges and a quiet path lead you throughout the beautiful grounds of this sacred space.
If you are feeling tapped out on beaches and parks, how about hopping around to some of the street out that is featured throughout Tampa. Most of it can be found along Franklin Street and the side streets that stem from there. There's also some to be found in and around Hyde Park. Additionally there is a lot of character to be found in YBOR city, so it's worth taking the family to explore!
There are many more beautiful spaces in and around the Tampa and Clearwater region or even going a bit further towards St Pete and beyond. Some may also require photography permits purchased with some advance notice. Spots like Hillsborough River State Park, Ft Desoto, Madiera Beach, Sand Key Beach Park, Vinoy Park, Straub Park, murals in St. Pete, and more.
